Zapatos 3

Dagmar Helbig

Description
I am a painter of humans and portraits in the first line. And I love movements as you can see in my pictures of Poloplayers and in IKARUS - and some others.
This work here shows the difficulties by wearing a mini-skirt and bending down to fix a shoe. I made it with a smile on my face - we women are doing a lot to look beautiful, even if it has its problems to get along with it.
For the title I used the Spanish word for Shoes - Zapatos - and the number is the third work of this series. I saw a scenery like this and had to paint it. Always on the hunt for motifs...........
The Watermark will not be seen on the print or original!
For some years I am living in Austria and Mexico and often I go to my hometown Hamburg. I am exhibiting my works in Austria, Germany and Mexico since 1995.
At the moment I am working on a series LIFE IS A GAME and CAPRICIOUS LUCK - all about Gambling, Games and Jokers - and Luck - we try to find in various possibilities, for anyone different.
I want to invite you to my private Website: www.dagmarhelbigart.com

Love this vivid and well composed beauty, Dagmar! Also thanks for the new avatar, as it shows your talent in a self portrait, which is very difficult to accomplish. Great to have you as an active member of our family of friends and fine artists here in the Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery group. This one is a beauty and a true winner! Thanks for sharing.

Dagmar, with your hectic travel schedule, high heels must present a constant challenge, which this third in the 'Zapatos' series depicts both dramatically and vividly!
