Description
Playing a fine Melody - the Tales of Alhambra - the story of ancient times, of love, of loss, of happyness and my favourite place in Europe, where the beauty meets the poetry, where so many cultures and art had found a home.Where you find gardens like in paradise, where you can listen to the water-fountain, where the roses have the sweetest scent, where you sit at night and see all lights in distance - where the world is far away, where the language is like music, and the world is far away...
In the Alhambra I became the inspiration for this work, there was always a guitar playing in my ear, sometimes with a soft melody and sometimes music for Flamenco. And so I worked on this picture quite a while, added the jacket and when the sun goes down, the blue shadows find their place. Than you have that place nearly for your own, the best time.
It is a very personal painting but I want to show it here. A painter always shows his emotions through his pictures, it has to be like that.
